This week’s guest is Paul Hayes, CEO and founder of Beachhut PR, a PR firm that works exclusively with tech clients to help them with their Public Relations, Communications Strategy and Corporate Storytelling. Paul is one of Europe’s leading technology strategists. He is also consigliere to many of Ireland’s leading tech founders and investors. He hosts or leads a range of sector-shaping initiatives from Startup Wakes to Flounders in Europe and the US. As the internal communications lead at companies like Havok and Demonware he shaped exciting new communication strategies for a whole sector of games middleware early in his career. He has worked with indigenous companies like Intercom to grow their global profile in a completely new sector from start-up to scale up.

Internationally, he also works with the founders and CEO’s of global technology companies to enhance their public profiles across EMEA and beyond. He was a founder of Games Ireland and is known as one of the best connectors in the tech ecosystem. James sits with Paul to discuss his career, the changes and challenges it has brought him and the advice he would give to those thinking of following a similar career path.
